Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the physiotherapy services provided by Links Physiotherapy ("we", "us", "the Physiotherapist") to you ("the Client", "the Patient"). By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

1. Professional Standards

1.1. All treatments are provided by a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). 1.2. We provide services in accordance with the professional code of conduct set out by the CSP.

2. Bookings and Home Visits

2.1. Environment: For home visits, the Client must provide a safe, clean, and smoke-free environment for the treatment to take place.

2.2. Pets/Children: To ensure safety and focus, please ensure that pets and young children are moved to another room during the clinical assessment and treatment.

2.3. Chaperones: We reserve the right to request a chaperone be present. For patients under 16, a parent or legal guardian must be present for the duration of the session.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.

3.2. Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 25% of the session price.

3.3. No-Shows: If the Physiotherapist arrives at the scheduled location and the Client is not present or is unable to receive treatment, the full session fee will be charged.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1. Our current fees are listed on our website and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

4.2. Payment is due at the end of the session / within 24 hours of the appointment.

4.3. We accept payment via Cash, Bank Transfer, or Debit/Credit Card.

5. Medical Disclosure and Consent

5.1. The Client agrees to provide a full and accurate medical history. We cannot be held liable for issues arising from the non-disclosure of medical conditions or medications.

5.2. A physical assessment and treatment carry certain risks (e.g., temporary muscle soreness). By booking, you consent to undergo an assessment. Specific treatment risks will be discussed with you before they are performed.

5.3. You have the right to stop or refuse treatment at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the total value of the fees paid for the session in question, except in cases of personal injury or death caused by our proven negligence.

6.2. We are not liable for any pre-existing conditions or injuries that are aggravated due to the Client failing to follow professional advice or aftercare exercises.

7. Right to Terminate

7.1. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate treatment immediately if the Client is verbally or physically abusive, or if the environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate for a medical professional.
